Havarí opens Bríarí
The cultural center Havarí closed it's doors last january due to hotel growth in downtown areas of Reykjavik and has been searching for a new place for weeks now, unsuccessfully. In order to do something fun for a change Havarí has decided to open up a flash store @ Skulagata 22 (above The Living Art Museum) during the awesome and great Reykjavik Music Mess. We named our store BRÍARÍ (bríarí means doing something with haste and without an apparent reason, or something like that).
In the spirit of Havarí, Bríarí will offer music, concert (for free), art, posters, coffee and good vibrations. Bríarí will also serve as a festival center and ticket office for Reykjavik Music Mess (www.reykjavikmusicmess.com).
Bohem's, hipster's and housewifes are adviced to dress up and get down to Bríarí over the weekend and suck in the wonderful and vibrant culture of alternative Reykjavik.
Bríarí will be open from Thursday April 14th to (and with) Sunday April 17th from 11 - 18
