236. Song of the Week is "Bitter Sweet Tears" by Dathi from the album "Dark Days".
He reminds me of the late troubadour Siggi Ármann.
Dathi grew up in the small Northern town Dalvík, nearby Akureyri. He started to play the guitar @ a young age & soon after that he started to write music. He finds it hard to connect to music that says nothing & means nothing. Now he's working on an album trilogy.
The first album was released in February 2010: “Self Portrait”.
The second album is called "Dark Days" and came out on 17. June 2011.
The third album will be called "The Endgame" and will be released in January 2012.
