No Future For Me - Back to the early 80's...
This afternoon I was working on my other new blog, a virtual Icelandic Music Museum (IMM). Digging in the online archives provided by the Icelandic National Library. I've found some articles about KUKL, Tappi Tíkarrass, Purrkur Pillnikk, Vonbrigði, Þeyr, etc.
Going back to the time that The Fall with frontman Mark E. Smith came to Iceland & wrote a song about it. Jaz of Killing Joke and Echo & The Bunnymen hit the North Atlantic. Followed in the 90's  when Goldie, Damon of Blur & Jarvis of Pulp became the new friends of Iceland.
The time when British managers were downtown 101 for the British bands!?
Photographs of very young "manager"/singer Einar Örn Benediktsson, Björk just a singer in a band, Sigtryggur "Siggi" Baldursson was banging the drums almost 30 years ago, that I've never seen before.
